HOME SEASON PERFORMANCES
Our 2026 Home Season Performances took place on May 1, 2, and 4 at Sky Rink, Chelsea Piers.
The full theatrical show was performed by ITNY's professional ensemble and guest performer Emmanuel Savary. On the Gala Night, we were joined by guest artists 3X World Champion Ilia Malinin and World Medalists Emilea Zingas & Vadym Kolesnik!
2026 BENEFIT GALA
Olympic Champion Nathan Chen was honored at the 2026 Benefit Gala on May 4 at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
“For more than four decades Ice Theatre of New York has done something that almost no one in our sport really thinks to do. And they have insisted that figure skating belongs in the same conversation as contemporary dance, music, as visual arts. Really establishing that they belong in this cultural fabric in such an amazing city like New York City. But what moves me even more than is what happens off the stage, off the ice. Introducing so many New York City public school children to the joy of ice skating. And that is how our sport grows, how an art form grows, so if anyone is being honored tonight it should really be Moira, Jirina, the ensemble, the choreographers, and all of you all supporting this organization to continue flourishing.” – Nathan Chen, 2026 Honoree

FALL FROLIC
Our Fall Frolic Performance and Fundraiser occurred on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Sky Rink & the Sunset Terrace at Chelsea Piers.
Performers included our professional ensemble, performing apprentices, and guest artists Emmanuel Savary and our Will Sears Awardee Shae-Lynn Bourne!
We presented the Will Sears Award to Shae-Lynn Bourne.
CITY SKATE CONCERT SERIES
This year’s City Skate Concert Series featured performances by the ITNY professional ensemble, special guest artists, and youth performers, from November 2025 through March 2026.
We performed at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, Riverbank State Park, Wollman Rink, and LeFrak Center at Lakeside Brooklyn.
NEW WORKS AND YOUNG ARTISTS SERIES
We held 10 in-person sessions of our educational outreach programming for NYC public school students at 3 venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn, serving over 1000 students. Our talented professionals and young apprentices performed for the students and then engaged them in a free skating clinic. Students are introduced to the integration of athleticism and artistry necessary to create dancing on ice and learn the life lesson of falling and getting back up (first lesson in learning to skate).
EDGE CLASSES
From September 2025 through April 2026, ITNY conducted 38 Edge Classes at Sky Rink, Chelsea Piers and at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park. Classes were taught by ITNY Professional Ensemble Members. Close to 150 skaters participated throughout the season.
WINTER HOLIDAY SKATING CELEBRATION
TREE LIGHTING AT BANK OF AMERICA WINTER VILLAGE AT BRYANT PARK
ITNY performed Hot Chocolate featuring Sarah France, Aaron Singletary, Georgie Blackwell, Elisabeth Erhardt, Karina Manta, Joe Johnson, Libby McGrosky, Janine Rho and ITNY Professional Ensemble members Liz Yoshiko Schmidt and Danil Berdnikov performed a duet to music sung live by Broadway Performer Matt Doyle on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 5:30 pm.

SPECIAL EVENTS
ITNY provided skaters for special events at the local seasonal rinks.
In August of 2025 we performed at LeFrak Center at Lakeside as they announced their new management. In October of 2025 we performed at the Dick Button Festival of Artistic Skating in PA, and performed at the opening of Wollman Rink. We performed privately for FIGS and META.
