2024 Year in Review

Dear ITNY Patrons, Audience, and Friends,

As I’m sure you’re aware, this year is our 40th Anniversary! I started ITNY in 1984, the first not-for-profit professional ice dance company in the U.S. and was the first to receive funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.

ITNY represents one of the hidden-in-plain-sight gems of NYC, presenting dozens of free public performances in NYC as well as two ticketed events at Sky Rink, Chelsea Piers. We also perform and do outreach programming involving students from all five boroughs.

Our Upcoming Benefit Gala to celebrate this milestone will be on May 5, 2025.  Journal Ads and tickets are already on sale – we hope you will be able to attend and celebrate with us!

For our 40th Anniversary Season we are asking for donations of $40, $400, $4,000, or whatever you can afford.

Our alumnus, Jonathan Stine, who is heading up the 40th Anniversary Alumni Committee, has started us off with a generous matching grant of $4,000. We hope you will be inspired by his gift and join him in supporting our anniversary season with your donation and help us reach this match. Thank you!

I can't thank you enough for all the support you have shown us throughout these 40 years. I couldn't do it without you.

With deepest gratitude,

Moira North

Founder/ Artistic Director
